Ping Pong Trophy

I was asked to create a themed Ping Pong Trophy for an office event. Another intern and I worked within a 24 hour time time frame to create a Paddle Trophy that kept with the Star Wars and Imagineering theme.

Rapid Prototyping Process

It took an hour from the conception of the design to have a fully modeled trophy, but most of the work was within iterating, material choice and design.

Final Version

The middle of the paddle has white acrylic to diffuse the LED lights, and the sorcerer Mickey is engraved in laserable plastic, to give color and depth. The sparkle to the right was engraved to give an edge-lighting effect, to add to the magic of the Trophy.
